This one app has five features you will find useful. You can install PVincline app here.

Benefits
One of the key benefits of PVincline is that it is easy to use. The app is designed to be user-friendly, with a simple interface that allows users to input their location and receive an instant calculation of the tilt angle and orientation for their solar panels. This can save users a significant amount of time, effort and enhances safety, as they no longer need to repeated work from height to attain the tilt and orientation readings of their solar panels.
How to use
Simple 3-step action to log the position of the target module(s) or string(s):
Enter String ID e.g. “north1”
Place mobile on surface of target module representative of the string orientation
Press ‘New’

PVincline is highly integrated to user existing apps for sharing or simply to keep a record of the measurements. The app uses mobile in built sensors to measure the tilt angle and orientation for solar panels. This ensures that users receive the most accurate and up-to-date information, which can help to improve the performance of their solar energy system or replication of panel tilt angles for energy yield simulation.

Another unique feature to note is its time delay to log the measurements. User adjustable from 1 second to 9999 seconds. This will allow the desired countdown before actual logging is done. This time delay will be helpful when the PV modules are installed in a position e.g. over head or module position is only accessible by one hand via extended reach on rooftops etc. The time elapse to record will ensure the module measurements are logged in an unhurried and deliberate manner.

In addition to these benefits, PVincline inherently has a compass. This can be particularly useful for users who are looking to optimize the direction of their yet to install solar panels for optimal energy harvesting.

How to replicate the measurements
Very simply, when the readings are positioned to the same inclination, direction and/or tilt angle, each of these 3 readings will show a green background. Figure below shows an instance when all three readings are coincides with what is registered when taken on the target module.

Why do you need this?
Safety. Use of expensive pyranometers or irradiance sensors on every string and for each different orientation are not resources readily available nor affordable at most solar installations. By replicating the position with full inclination, direction and tilt angles of the sole or limited sensor on safe ground level, user need not subject themselves to work from height risk to set up the sensory systems.
Save time and money. By having all the cumbersome power, data cables and laptop or computer setup in one location for each recorded location, the time taken to replicate the various module or string positions is faster and very much appreciated in time and man-hours saved for the intended energy yield study or field tests.

Overall, PVincline is a powerful and user-friendly mobile app that provides a range of benefits to users who are interested in solar energy. By helping users to calculate the optimal tilt angle and orientation for their solar panels, the app can help to improve the performance and efficiency of solar energy systems, which can lead to significant cost savings and environmental benefits. Whether you are a homeowner, business owner, or other organization, PVincline is an essential tool for anyone who is looking to harness the power of solar energy.
We're excited to announce the launch of our new PVincline android mobile app! The app is designed for PV solar homeowners and provides a simple, easy way to measure inclination, compass direction, and side roll angle all in an app. It even allows you to share your information with unlimited data log.
