PVS01 is an irradiance sensor designed for practical field checking of photovoltaic systems. In inverter-calibrated mode, the sensor is tuned through the PVBuddy App against the inverter kWh reading for the selected string or strings having the same orientation.

Select the module, string or strings to be tested and place the PVS01 sensor in the same orientation as the PV modules.
Check the inverter kWh reading and use the PVBuddy App to tune PVS01 for that string, or for strings having the same orientation.
Repeat Step 1 under suitable sunlight conditions and compare the result with the established reference to identify any deviation.
